Hi there. So nice to see you!

As I just opened up our blog I saw that my last post is titled:
“A new school year begins”.

Well, with the school year almost being a wrap, you can guess how well blogging went. Spoiler: Not the way I intended it to go. haha.

This morning I did a bible study again and it was truly meant for me to come across that study. It spoke to me and it immediately sparked an idea for a blog post. I do want to give a quick update though, before just jumping right back into blogging.

Family. Friends. Blog readers. Instagram followers. 
A family of 6. I am now writing as a mom of FOUR wonderful children. 


Gabriel Jesse was born in December and we couldn’t be happier and more blessed. What a gift from God we got to welcome into our family.

I had the school year laid out nicely, but a few days, or couple of weeks into school, I took an approach I have been wanting to take for a long while. It mixed things up, but it has been such a blessing for our homeschool and we are excited to be on the right path. We finally joined Classical Conversations and I have nothing but great things to say about that homeschool curriculum and the COMMUNITY that comes with it. I plan on sharing a recap from our school year now that we are slowly approaching summer. And of course all that exciting planning that is starting up.

Talking about summer. Our summer vacation is coming up and I started working out again. I haven’t been as consistent as in the past, but maybe trying to go shopping for a swimsuit on the weekend will help me to get my motivation going. The company that I adore and that has helped me so much when I just began my journey released a new eating program. This might be helpful with me having a sweet tooth at the moment. And again – I will share it with you on here. Accountability is always helpful for me. In so many areas of my live.

I have missed writing on here. And I am a little sad that I didn’t share more of the pregnancy and the school year with you on this blog, but just feeling, how good it feels to write, I truly hope and pray that the words will continue to come to me, so I can start sharing more with you.

Green Smoothie Recipe

Lately, Green Smoothies are my (and our youngest ones) absolute favorite breakfast. I am truly looking forward to drinking one in the morning. I have made many before and it always depends on how I make or like them. At the moment, this is my go-to recipe.

1 – 1.5 cups of coconut water (regular water is fine too)
Some orange juice
1 generous handful of kale (or spinach if you prefer)
1 (frozen) banana
1 cup of frozen mango
0.5 tbsp of soaked chia seeds*

I add water and my greens into my blender first and the rest of the ingredients on top of it. Once everything is in it, blend it up, pour it into a glass and ENJOY!

Green Smoothie

*It is always best to soak your chia seeds in water, before adding them to your smoothie. Add dry seeds to a glass jar, cover them with water, stir and let them sit for at least 10 min. If you don’t use them all, you can store them in the fridge to you have them ready for the next few mornings.
